It's been a great summer. The kids had a bit of an adjustment with Caia being home all summer but I've noticed greater maturity and patience with each other. I loved having that time together as a family.

Guess who loves dressing himself?! Not only did he put the shirt on inside out but the shorts are backwards too. He still proudly played outside like this all morning. :)

Liam's speech continues to improve. He's quicker to organize his thoughts and express himself, and we can understand most of what he says. He loves blueberries and he always wants to eat a bowl of blueberries before bed. He's funny and smart. We're approaching our 6-month anniversary and it's hard to remember what life was like without him.

So cool to hear how he's coming along. Sounds like he's a whiz! ANd independent as well. Hope to meet him in person sometime. I'm too lazy to sign out of Helena's google acct b/c it will not save my comment so this is really Beth:)
Six months already? Where did that time go??? It seems like Liam has always been part of your family!
